Unfortunately the NHS does not support the mixing of NHS and private treatment, therefore we would be unable to ask or recommend colleagues in primary care to continue to prescribe any treatment following private initiation.
Co-funding, which involves both private and NHS funding for a single episode of care, is not permitted for NHS care.
