Walking is a free and easy way to improve your overall health. Walking not only increases your physical activity, but can also improve your mood.
Medway Council offer different free supported walks including, Nordic Walking, Medway Wellbeing Walks (Health Walks) and Ready Steady Walk. Email: [email protected] or Call 01634 333 720 for more information about when, where and how to join.
Nordic walking is a great form of physical activity using a pair of specially designed Nordic walking poles. Medway council provide both training and poles for the sessions.

The Active 10 is a free app which anonymously records every minute of walking you do. Just pop your phone in your pocket and away you go! It can track your steps, help you set goals, show you your achievements and give tips to boost your activity. You can download the app from both the Google Play store and the Apple store.
